What the work looks like

Strategic planning is designed as a participatory process that engages leaders and stakeholders throughout. This often includes working with a small leadership group or planning committee that partners with me as the work unfolds.

The process combines conversations, interviews, surveys, and facilitated group sessions to understand current conditions, surface priorities, and make informed choices about direction. Ongoing feedback and alignment ensure the work stays grounded in what the organization needs now.

Plans are shaped with implementation in mind, with attention to building shared ownership, energy, and momentum, and addressing resistance as it arises so the work can move forward.

When leadership is working hard but can’t move forward

This organization had already been in a strategic planning process for nearly a year. Leaders were committed, but progress had stalled and it wasn’t clear how to move from discussion into decision.

Together, we combined research on industry trends, listening sessions and surveys, and the voices of key stakeholders to understand what was really happening and what decisions were needed next. The process helped rebuild shared energy, surface what mattered most, and focus leadership on a smaller set of meaningful choices.

The result was clearer decisions and renewed energy toward action.

What the work looks like

Impact evaluation focuses on designing, deploying, and analyzing data in ways that are practical and usable. I design evaluation tools, deploy surveys or other data-collection methods, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and share findings through clear reports or decks.

Findings are translated for leadership and boards, so insights are actionable and inform strategy, operational decisions, and funding conversations.

Coaching provides leaders with space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what’s happening in their role and across the organization. The focus is on strengthening decision-making, navigating complexity, and building awareness of how leadership presence, patterns, and choices affect others.

The work supports leaders in working with resistance, holding multiple perspectives, and making intentional decisions that align with organizational priorities and long-term goals.
